Bar stools are important pieces of furniture. Barstools and kitchen stools can be used in many areas including bars, kitchens, dining rooms, recreational areas like games rooms and outdoors. We have listed below the basic information needed for choosing a suitable height of stool. Please note that this is just a guideline

Choosing the appropriate stool height:

Firstly, you need to know the height of the counter or table that the stools will be used at

Bar Stools
If the height of the bar table is over 1 metre (100 centimetres or 1000 mm or over 40 inches) then you need a stool which is over 0.7 metres (70 centimetres or 700 mm or over 27.50 inches). For this purpose we have barstools ranging from 700mm to 820mm.

Kitchen counter or Breakfast bar Stools
If the height of the counter or table is over 0.85 metre (85 centimetres or 850 mm or over 33.50 inches) then you need a stool which is under 0.7 metres (70 centimetres or 700 mm or over 27.50 inches). For kitchen counters and breakfast bars we have stools ranging from 600mm to 650mm

Low Stools
For a dining table that is around 0.72 metres (72 centimetres or 720 mm or around 28 inches) then you need a stool which is under 0.5 metres (50 centimetres or 500 mm or 20 inches).

Height Adjustable Stools: If you cannot make up your mind on the height of stools or need it to be at more than one standard height, we offer a range of height adjustable stools too.

Dining Chair & Kitchen chairs.

Our range of chairs come with a complete metal frame to suit the modern kitchen or dining area or in wooden frame to suit to traditional yet stylish kitchen or dining room. The metal frame is available with a padded / upholstered seat with either metal back, wooden back or upholstered back. Most of the upholstery is artificial leather / leatherette (high quality vinyl) which is easy to wipe and clean. However we do make bonded leather or real leather upholstery on certain models.

The metal frame on some chairs have an option of like chrome, satin chrome, brass, brushed steel, aluminium, white, black, red, blue, orange, green, yellow, gold, silver, anthracite, grey or black (depending on the model). Our plated finishes are chrome, satin and brass. All other finishes are powder – coated. The upholstery is available in different colours like white, black, red, yellow, beige, silver, grey, orange, wine red, green, in either smooth or textured finish (wherever applicable). If you cannot find a colour to suit your décor, we can also offer certain model of chairs un-upholstered so that it can be re-upholstered by yourself. Alternatively, if you can supply us with a fabric / upholstery material of your choice we can request our factory in Italy to upholster them.

The metal chairs also come with wooden seat and / or back and wherever available can be made to different wooden stains seat and back. Our range of wood stains include, walnut, oak, mahogany, wenge, natural, cherry wood, black aniline, maple, zebrano and ebony. Some of our chairs are also available in with wood laminate or wood lacquered finish. We also supply a wide range of plastic pvc / abs chairs for indoor and outdoor use.

Glass & Wood Top Kitchen / Dining Tables:

Our glass & wood top kitchen / dining tables range from very contemporary glass topped ones to stylish wooden topped ones. The Glass Tables are available in a variety of sizes and shapes. The table tops are from a minimum of 600mm Diameter Round to 1200 mm Diameter Round or 600mm x 600mm Square to 1200mm x 800mm Oblong (Rectangle) or Oval.

Popular Top Sizes for kitchen tables:
A 600mm Dia or 600mm Square top is enough to seat two for a breakfast or just drinks.

700mmDia or 700mm Square can seat three people or two people for a generous meal.

800mmDia or 800mm Round is recommended to seat up to 4 people for a small meal or drinks.

We also do complete tables with a top size of 900mm Round or Square, 1000mm Dia or Square in Glass or Wood.

For non-standard size of wood tops or if you can’t find the size you are looking for on our website, please call us for information on a customised size.

For square glass tops or sizes larger than 800 mm Dia Round, to be matched on to a different base from our “Table Base” section, we supply a stainless steel fixing disc that needs to be bonded by special light reactive adhesive to the underside of the glass in order for the glass top to screw on to our bases. Please note that we are unable to do these ourselves as we do not manufacture separate square glass tops or separate glass tops larger than 800 mm dia Round. If you are getting such glass tops made from elsewhere, please make sure that the manufacturer can bond this disc on to the glass, which is available from our website to buy.

We offer composite wooden tops with a Laminate top (Werzalit or SM France brands) and seamlessly bonded edges for use indoor and outdoors, in the kitchen, cafe, bar, hotel or restaurant. These tops are weatherproof and heat and scratch resistant. Look out for the Werzalit and SM France brand tops for these purposes. We also supply kitchen or dining tables with beech wood veneer that are available in a range of stains like natural beech, maple, wenge, dark mahogany, walnut, black aniline or oak. These table tops come in two different thicknesses as well. Our range of melamine tops include black, white and natural beech finish.

Table base come in two standard heights – approximately 720 mm (.72 metres, 72 centimetres, 28.50 inches) for a dining height and approximate 1100 mm (1.1 metres, 110 centimetres, 43 inches) for a bar height. We also supply some metal column tablebases in 900 mm for a kitchen counter height. We also supply custom made metal pedestal tablebases range 300 mm to 1090 mm. Finishes on the table base are mentioned along with the model number.

Table Bases:
Our table legs are available with a choice of metal finishes on the bases like chrome, satin chrome, brass, brushed steel, aluminium, white, black, red, blue, orange, green, yellow, gold, silver, anthracite, grey or black (depending on the model). Other powder-coated finished are also available from our table base section. Our table legs are also available in a choice of wood finishes like, natural beech, Wenge, walnut, mahogany, maple, cherry wood (wherever applicable). In the table base section most of the “bases” can be mixed and matched with the tops from our “tops” section. Some glass tables have an option of clear or sand-blasted glass or black, red or other colour glass. Table tops are available in melamine, beech veneer and laminate, composite. These wood tops are available in various finishes / stains like natural beech, Wenge, walnut, mahogany, cherry, maple and more. Please do note that there maybe a few exceptions, so please call us to confirm.

We also supply table bases aluminium and outdoor bases for use out of doors in gardens, cafes, restaurants or in the patio. They can be matched with Werzalit composite wood tops that are weatherproof or can be used with the Inox Stainless Steel tops. The aluminium range offer the same stylishness of a chrome base, but are also more robust and weatherproof. Please see our Aluminium Furniture range for matching chairs.

Our wooden tops are available in various finishes / stains like natural beech, Wenge, walnut, mahogany, cherry, maple, black, white and more.  Almost all our tops are suitable for use with our tablebases. However, there are a few exceptions. Our glass tops are 10 mm thick and our wood tops are available in 25 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm and 70 mm thickness. If you have a requirement for custom made glass top, we supply glass support disc for up to 900 mm tops and up to 1200 mm tops. Depending on the size, this dis has to be glued on to the glass. Our table legs are available with a choice of metal finishes on the bases like chrome, satin chrome, brass, brushed steel, aluminium, white, black, red, blue, orange, green, yellow, gold, silver, anthracite, grey or black (depending on the model). Other powder-coated finished are also available from our table base section. If you are unable to find a suitable wood finish or wood rather have a stain to suit your own décor, we also offer solid beech tops in the raw or unstained form that can be stained and finished by yourselves. These are available in 610 mm, 690 mm, 760 mm round and square and 1220 x 690 mm or 1220 x 760 mm Rectangle.
